Q: What is the diamond frame?

 

A: Most modern upright bicycles have a diamond frame. The diamond shape is made up of two triangles, one in front and one in the rear. The first diamond frame bicycles were made in the later 1880s, when a seat tube was added to Starley’s Rover.
